Amanda Kramer, NSWA Watershed Planning Coordinator

Delivered a presentation providing an overview of the North Saskatchewan Watershed Alliance (NSWA) and the role they play in watershed management, both at a broad scale and at a regional scale through sub-watershed alliances. The Sturgeon River Watershed Alliance (SRWA)  and some of their key projects will be introduced, along with the progress achieved on the 2020 Sturgeon River Watershed Management Plan.

NOVEMBER - ALBERTA TOMORROW PROJECT

On November 25, 2025, LILSA invited Jennifer Janz from the U of A and the Alberta Tomorrow  Foundation to show us a tool they have developed. It's meant to educate primarily students about previous land use and future modeling possibilities. Please contact Jennifer  if you wish to know more about this amazing piece of technology.
